World Music Network is pleased to announce a new competition for world music artists - Battle Of The Bands!

Post your best original track and build your page with photos and text in the Battle Of The Bands section. Members of the public and World Music Network staff will then review and vote for your music.

Share your competition page on Facebook and Twitter to get more people voting for your track. Each round we will select one artist as Battle Of The Bands winners.

Winners get to feature on a track on our forthcoming album, The Rough Guide to Undiscovered World, consideration for other WMN projects and a link to the winning track also gets sent to all the tens of thousands of people on our mailing lists.

The next winner will be announced on 1 March 2011.

Please make sure your track is 'world music'. We reserve the right to remove any material that is deemed inappropriate.
