'Senegal' is the winning track by Amadou Diagne

Amadou Diagne is a professional percussionist, African drummer, guitar player and singer from Dakar Senegal. He comes from a large Griot family of Sabar drummers and praise singers.

Amadou performed for many years as a member of the Senegal National Band playing Sabar, Djembe, Conga, and Kit drums, during this time he had the honour to play with some very great musicians including Yousou N'Dour, Cesaria Evora, and Jimmy Cliff.

Amadou writes and performs his own songs primarily in the Wolof language, for which he takes as a basis the songs of his Griot tradition.
