Yay, Mwalimu Express is back on the third sunday of each month starting on 20th of September for a new season of sensational music films fun and games from the Motherland. We kick off with a celebration of Homowo featuring Mwalimu favourites AFLA SACKEY & AFRIK BAWANTU. Afla is a Ga from Accra and Homowo - hooting at hunger - is the harvest festival when Ga's come together catch up, eat, drink and get down to the best of party music. Bawantu - come lets jump - and you know Afla Sackey is going to make us do just that. Homowo it's a hoot and we will have Naa Adjeley Kwe's images and footage of Homowo to truly take us there.

And on to Cine time, Screen Station's Prof Andy Jones is showing 'Music by Prudence' the 2010 Oscar winner for best short documentary by director Roger Ross Williams.this is a moving tribute to the power of music under the most testing circumstances.
