Improvisational artist Lonnie Holley has released his first music video on the label Dust-to-Digital. Holley devoted his life to the practice of improvisational creativity in 1979 and began to craft sculptures and installations made from found objects, in the oldest tradition of African American sculpture. He displayed his works in his yard and upon approaching the Birmingham Museum of Art was immdeiately exhibited. His works have subsequently been displayed at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the American Folk Art Museum and the High Museum of Art.

Like his visual art, Holley's music is entirely improvised and changes with every performance or recording. The video to 'All Rendered Truth' offers a fascinating snapshot of his new album, Just Before Music. He is accompanied solely by reverberating metallophones crafting a dreamlike soundscape, and his vocal tone is unique - he sings entirely naturally allowing his voice to crack at the corners and curl into thick vibrato hums.
